Ali Fraser has worked as a copy editor on several leading magazines and papers in the UK, including the Radio Times, Observer, Guardian and the Telegraph.
At the Telegraph he was made deputy chief sub editor on the arts desk, a position he held for several years, before becoming chief sub editor of the Sunday travel section.
In 2007 he moved with his family to France having been appointed page editor at a company that carries out the subbing and
design of several papers and supplements in the Irish Independent group.
His experience of setting up home in France and the problems his family encountered were featured in the Guardian.
After moving back to England, he was retained as page editor by the company, before he set up an online arts magazine.
He now works part-time as a senior news reporter on his local paper.
